Our local cast has gotten pretty amazing at bringing a jukebox full of those "oldies but goodies" back to life in living color. For people who want a smattering of those great hits from the 50s-70s, this may just be your new thing!
Nedgra Culp Our leading lady, she isn't afraid to take a little soul music and turn it into that tingling sensation that sometimes occurs when you hear something unexpected in an unexpected place. She's been teaching people to pay attention with her insanely captivating presence and vocal luminosity for some years now, and practice has certainly made perfect in this case.
Linda Morgan Our blond headed queen of soul. Small and mighty don't begin to describe Linda fully, but it's a good place to start. She looks a TON like Bette Midler and does a pretty close rendition of Janis Joplin. She has a following, it's obvious when it takes her 2 hours to get eggs at the grocery just for signing autographs. (This may be a slight exaggeration, but sometimes you'd be amazed where she gets stopped!)
Larry Delawder Our "Funnyman" has the shortest job description of anyone in the biz. Keep people laughing. Larry has been doing Barney Fife long enough to know that if he ever walks into the lobby without his one bullet in his breast pocket, he might just get fired by a fan. He has a voice too, but what really gets you about Larry is his harmonica playing. No, we can't really explain it, so you'll just have to come see for yourself.
Derek Spence We found ol' Derek peddling his guitar skills as a local original artist. Turns out he's not just "Pretty good", but truly phenomenal. We're not sure yet what he can't play, but we swear we'll find something some day that he doesn't know.
Cass Moore Cass is a good follow-up to Derek, because he is even more of a music encyclopedia. Cass closes his eyes when he plays for two reasons. One, he can visualize all the notes. Two, he's just that good, and he's trying to give himself a challenge. Sometimes we wonder if he's catching up on his sleep while playing, and who's to say he's not?
Kevin Taylor Affectionately known as "KT", this guy is the nucleus. Literally, he sits in the middle and holds everything together. Once KT's kit got in the way when a Rod Stewart Tribute started swinging his mic stand and the drum cage panel shattered, KT didn't miss a beat. He smiled and just kept rockin'
